Creating a Panel (Collage)
A 2 x 2 panel of flower images. Note these photos have been edited to give them a common colour palate and emphasise the similarity between them.
A panel is, in photographic circles, an arrangement of photographs designed to be viewed together as a group. They are often referred to as a “collage” in less formal circles when additional graphic elements may be added.
There are many apps available for Apple and Android devices but many of their templates are a bit too “childlike” for serious photographers. Nevertheless a group of related images can often have more impact than the sum of the individual photographs.
Google Photos can create “collages” but, as ever, the methodology varies between web and app versions of Google Photos and between tablet/phone versions.
