How to Comment/Object

Our immediate aim is to create enough concern within the planning system to ensure that the whole of this application is subject to critical scrutiny by the planning authorities. Our subsequent aims are to ensure that any development on this site considers on the views and needs of the Wadswick Green community.

Extract from Council Guidance

As individuals we all have the right to comment on this planning application. Failure to comment will be taken as tacit agreement with the proposals.

  • If you are unfamiliar with the use of a computer in this way please ask for help from family, friends, neighbours or to Vic Steadman. It is possible for someone else to put your comments online on your behalf but you should declare that at the start of your submission.

  • If you do not have an email address we can arrange for a temporary address or submit the comment on your behalf in your name.

  • Married couples are encouraged to submit their comments individually so you each cast your own vote.

The deadline for comments is 30 Aug 2024.

How to Submit your Comments

Comments have to be submitted using the Wiltshire Council Planning Portal. Open the portal by clicking on this link Wiltshire Council Planning Portal.

You will open a web page that looks like this next image. Check that the correct application reference is displayed - its should be PL/2024/05527.

Comments can be added using the Comments tab.

The comments form

As a minimum you must complete the fields marked with a red star.

  • Full Name - Anonymous comments are not accepted, and any nicknames are likely to be weeded out when the entries are moderated.

  • Phone - optional field, only enter 1 telephone number which should be 11 numbers

  • Email address - required field, it will not be published on the website

  • Address - required field, used to assess your eligibility to comment.

  • Response type, drop down box select one of: the options - likely to be object but you can make other types of comment.

  • Comment - Free text field where you add the “meat” of your comments.
