Croquet

The UK croquet season typically runs from early April until October but is of course weather dependent. With the unusually wet winter the lawn has been continuously waterlogged and being clay drainage is something of a problem. In previous years we have been able to play through much of the winter due to the mild clement weather.

Table Tennis

Short Mat Bowling (SMB) in the Village Hall has got off to a roaring start over the past three months. Of the twenty seven residents who have had a go, eighteen are now playing regularly. None of us have any previous SMB experience, although some have played lawn bowls. The standard of play has improved very quickly, but we are still looking for beginners to come and give it a try.
